Start by raiding your closet (or those belonging to your friends and family) for cast-off jeans, skirts and jackets. If you can’t find the right pair at home, check out your local re-sale shops where you can find all colors and sizes of jeans!

- Coats Dual Duty XP sewing thread
- 1/2 yard denim remnants in light, medium and dark (old jeans and other thrift store fabrics were used for this project)
- 1/2 yard cotton fabric in contrasting solid or print for lining
- 9” x 12” rectangles WoolFelt in Red and Rose
- One package 1/2” ric-rac in Yellow Green
- Seven 3/8” buttons in Orange
- Two 3/8” buttons in Purple
- 8” x 10” sheet medium weight chipboard (about 1/8” thick)
- Sewing /embroidery needles
- Scissors
- Pinking shears
- Tacky glue
